The DSSGC organizes committees comprised of board members and general members to plan and carry out programs and activities. Committees are formed for the purpose of advising and aiding the officers in the management of the affairs of the non-profit corporation. - Executive Committee – This group includes the Board President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. They work closely with the board of directors and set agendas and overall management of DSSGC.
- Buddy Walk Committee – This group organizes the annual DSSGC Columbia Basin Buddy Walk.
- Outreach Committee – This group expands the DSSGC membership base by reaching out to families and individuals with Down syndrome within Grant County and who are currently without support. They also conduct the New Parent Outreach Program for new parents, prospective parents, medical practitioners, and hospitals.
- Support Group/Activity Committee – This team works to organize year round activities and support groups that provide education, friends, mentors, and encouragement to DSSGC members and their families.
