Greetings from the Board Members of Down Syndrome Society  of Grant County (DSSGC),

We all hope that everyone has been well and safe during these no-so-easy times of COVID.  In saying that we wanted to reach out to everyone to tell them about an event coming up on 03/21. That is the 21st of March also known as World Down Syndrome Day. (https://www.worlddownsyndromeday.org).

As a community of people who support and participate in events that support our Down Syndrome special people. We wanted to let you know about a couple of things we are planning and will hopefully join us.

Grant County Down Syndrome Society is celebrating:
World Down Syndrome Day

1.)  To recognize that day we thought it would be fun to PLANT a FLOWER.

2.)  On Friday, March 19^th, any time after 4:30pm or on Saturday, March 20^th after 10:00 am
Pick up your plant pot and seeds at:

Vanessa Valdez home, 1114 W. Luta St. Moses Lake, WA
Paint your terra cotta pots any WONDERFUL WAY you would like. Then show it off on our Facebook page or email us a picture as your flowers grow!

Then, on MARCH 21st will we send you out an invitation to join our DSSGC community for a virtual DISCO DANCE from your own home with ALL OF US!

So, get on your dancing shoes and we’ll see you…

at 4:00pm Sunday, March 21st, FOR A VIRTUAL ZOOM LIVE DISCO DANCE AND ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!

You can show us your PLANTED POT you made on the VIDEO!!!
