Every year, over 600 people participate in our annual Columbia Basin Buddy Walk! It is more than just a walk—it’s a celebration with music, dancing, games, and activities! We need volunteers to make this event successful! 

There are 2 ways to help!

1. Volunteer as an as part of a group or become an exhibitor

Become an Exhibitor!

Provide a game, craft or activity. You will provide your own volunteers from your organization, club, team, or family to host activity. Your volunteers will help run and assist participants with the activity or craft. Set up 2:00pm. Run activity 2:30 – 4:00 and after the walk until 5pm. Some things that buddies love: face painting, mascots, dressed up characters, hands on activities, carnival type games

An exhibitor is a group of volunteers typically representing a club, organization, or business that provides a game, craft or activity for the participants attending the Buddy Walk! Exhibitors can also provide materials to educate walkers about their organization. Bring your volunteers and supplies needed for activity or game. Optional items could be table, chairs, promotion materials, mascot, shade canopy, or banner.

Please partner with us Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at McCosh Park in Moses Lake to create opportunities for awareness and inclusion for those with differences. This is a unique opportunity for your family, company, business, or organization to provide service to the community as well as gain exposure and expansion through publicity.

Check in and set up for exhibitors is Saturday September 25^th at 2:00 pm. Walkers will start showing up at 2:30 and continue the fun until 5pm.

Food is provided for all exhibitors/volunteers. Buddy Walk shirts are available at a discounted rate of $5.00, if you pre-register as a volunteer before August 30th.
